South Africa’s grocery retailer ShopRite is leaving Africa’s biggest market, Nigeria, 15 years after it opened shop in the West African country. The announcement by ShopRite came months after another South African brand, Mr Price, exited the market.

The Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) has launched an online learning platform, X-Academy e-learning to educate individuals interested in the capital market. The X-Academy debuted in 2017, but the e-learning platform kicks off this month. NSE launches X-Academy e-learning The online learning platform began three days ago; June 3, 2019 to be precise. Its aim is to redefine learning experiences as it relates to the stock market. Since the launch of the X-Academy 50 training programmes has been facilitated for over 2,000 individuals.
